About Lena

I’m Lena Matthews, CLC, a board-certified life coach specializing in domestic violence escape and recovery, and the founder of Her Warcry (a DBA under Boundless Potential LLC).

My work is grounded in one simple belief: women deserve support that is practical, compassionate, and rooted in real-world understanding….especially when navigating abuse, separation, and rebuilding life after trauma.

I currently facilitate domestic violence support groups for both YVEDDI (Domestic Violence & Sexual Assault Services) and the Family Crisis Council in Rowan County, and I provide individual life coaching sessions for their clients. In addition to this work, I continue to serve private clients independently through Her Warcry.

Over the years, I have also facilitated the domestic violence support group for the Davie Center for Violence Prevention, taught parenting skills through the Davie County Department of Social Services, and provided domestic violence workshops for Cardinal Innovations Healthcare.

My approach to coaching is shaped not only by professional training, but by lived experience. Having navigated my own life-altering challenges, I understand how complex change can be….especially when safety, fear, and self-doubt are involved.

I work with clients to move forward thoughtfully and at a pace that honors their reality. Together, we focus on rebuilding confidence, strengthening boundaries, understanding patterns of abuse, and creating a path toward stability and peace.

This work is not about fixing you — because you are not broken.
It is about helping you reclaim clarity, agency, and trust in yourself again.
